Purplicious By Victoria KannPurplicious is more of a continuation of a young, pink lover's journey rather than a sequel. Our fave who loves pink goes to school, and is greeted by some gals on the playground who make fun of her for still loving pink because black is where it is at. She struggles with this view, and in art class finds strength and support for her love of pastels by meeting, you guessed it, a lover of lavender. This book is done in the same cute, straightforward way as Pinkalicious, but we feel it is a great buy for a young one venturing into school, where new opinions and friends abound.
