Psychobaby Mommy's Little Monster TeeA little one we know calls this the "Monter" tee, and that's exactly what we love about it....a happy friendly face that isn't so picky as to impose the correct spelling of his name on a little one. This funny t-shirt is available in both baby and big kid, so it works whether you are being ironic, dealing with some food-throwing or a full out red-faced tantrum! Also, there's a funny bonus phrase on the back of this Royal Monster tee for Mommy on the back for when she is chasing her little guy every day. $30.00 - $32.00 |

The flames that engulf the sleeves of this hoodie, as well as the Godzilla image on the back look faded and mystical, not hardcore--- perfect for that little man in your life. This standard-fit batik hoodie works well over a variety of outfits due to its neutral base color, and the medium weight of the material makes it a natural as a layering piece in the cold months, and a jacket in the warmer ones. Hi Ho Batik's handmade designs bring sweetness to rock n roll, making them super great for both Babies and Big Kids who have spirited attitudes! $59.00 |

Ugly Dolls CinkoCinko is the perfect companion for any little one, because he's from the deep, afraid of water, and likes to waddle around Earth in search of new friends. Target's younger brother's playful spirit reminds us all not to take everything so darn seriously! We hear he likes to stick his tongue out at everyone he meets, but he is kind enough to do it for you so you don't get in trouble.

Ugly Dolls JeeroJeero will keep your family in stitches all day long with his rectangular body, and two perfect fangs, but he himself is not so happy-go-lucky. Most Loved Monster By DowneyMonster Mama's four children are stalling before bedtime, and each of them wants to know, who is Mama's favorite? Mama says she loves all of her beasts, but that each one has a special something that she loves, such as telling rotten jokes and baking with slugs. The children all go to bed happy, but then wake up to showcase their special talents. When Mama wakes up, she is presented with the fruits of their labor, and a message about how special she is. A monstrously great bedtime book.

Five Ugly Monsters By Tedd ArnoldOne of our little guys loves this rhym-y chanty book, about what he likes to "mon-ters" jumping on the bed, one falling off and bumping his head. This classic tale, with monsters instead of monkeys is sure to delight the crowd.

My Monster Mama Loves Me So By Laura LeuckYou will love My Monster Mama because it is a fun bedtime story, narrated by a young monster giving his Mom some props for all she does for him during the day. You'll see their daily activities, that are monster-y versions of your own, our favorite being the part where Mom teaches the young monster to become invisible when the scary things (humans) come out because it promotes understanding about differences, similarities and point of view. The rhyming couplets are a soothing read, the acrylic and oil painted illustrations are dynamic and cheery and the end has the little monster sure of his Mama's love for him, and the reader's Mama's love for them.

Leonardo The Terrible Monster By Mo WillemsLeonardo is a terrible monster not because he's so darn scary, but because he isn't scary at all like all the other monsters he knows. He sets out to find the biggest scaredy-cat so he can fulfill his monster dreams. When he happens upon Sam however, he decides that he'd rather be a good friend (although he does try out his scaring skills on his new friend now and then!). Willems' tale is a great book about friendship, and adults will find it as awesome as the kids do, because Mo always throws a little something in for them, too.

Edgar and Ellen Rare Beasts By Charles OgdenThe story of Edgar and Ellen is short chapter story of two badly behaved twins who decide to steal their neighbors pets, doll them up like a bad Project Runway challenge and then sell them as rare beasts. The kids get their pets back and their rather polite revenge, but what is truly ironic is that the twins are the owners of an actual rare beast, and don't even know. A great chapter read for kids at bedtime, and a wonderful and spooky way to get little readers into the joy of books.
